Committed to creating opportunities to expand the offerings of art to diverse communities, the Aytes Agency helps arts organizations, educational institutions, corporate foundations, and others to develop vibrant programs, build transformative partnerships, and strengthen ties with the communities they serve.

It all begins with an idea. Our mission is to encourage arts & culture in all spaces; expanding the reach and accessibility through strategic means. Committed to creating “arts access for all,” the Aytes Agency helps arts organizations develop vibrant programs, build transformative partnerships, and strengthen ties with the diverse communities in which they serve.

Our Founder

Iymaani Aytes is a dynamic Strategic Manager, whose vision and keen sense of community led to her success in integral roles at NYU Steinhardt School of Culture & Education, and in her most recent role at Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation as Project Manager for Destination Dance Ailey Atlanta. In this position, Iymaani led the project planning, cultivation & sustainability of partnerships, and programming for the year-round Strategic Plan Initiative. Her greatest reward is building synergistic connections, leading mission-aligned partnerships, and establishing pipelines to education. Iymaani is known for her collaborative spirit, skilled leadership, creativity in developing programs, and leading initiatives that builds awareness and has social value.

With service at her core, Iymaani is a champion of education, wellness initiatives and programs that address the needs of women and girls. She is a Board Member of Brooklyn Emerging Leaders Academy (BELA), an all girls Charter School in Brooklyn, NY, and The BLUE List, a membership based non-profit organization who’s mission is to create fair and equal access to basic resources for all people. Additionally, Iymaani is founding Planning Committee Member and past Academy Professor for the Women’s in Entertainment Empowerment Network (WEEN).

Whether implementing devised strategies to build and deepen relationships and partnerships with progressive and civic engagement practitioners or leveraging operational, logistical, and creative skill sets to develop and produce diverse innovative programming that unite people through shared experiences and mission-driven partnerships, Iymaani continues to take the Art & Dance world by storm!
